What's up, guys? So, if you haven't figured it out already, my I'm Antonio Ingram (black guy with the glasses is fine too). I'm a recent graduate of Full Sail University with a Bachelor’s degree for Creative Writing. I specialize in screenwriting and I'm dedicated to writing character-driven drama films focused around the young black man for the sake of giving our society a different viewpoint of who we are as people. Regular people like everyone else in society. Very profound answer, don't you think?

I'm also obviously an avid movie lover, Ava Duvernay stalker (just on twitter, I swear), lover of street high fashion, die-hard Lakers fan (please don't come for my Lakers on here), casual shader, music lover, and undercover Beyhive (let's keep this between me and you though).

I started this blog because I wanted to open a space to vent about the lack of young black writers/creatives in the industry. I will mostly refer to film (given my field), but television and advertisement is included as well. Don't be shy to mention other fields though. This blog is not the voice of one young black writer's/creative's frustration, this blog is the voice of all young black writer's/creative's frustration. 

This blog is our place to vent amongst each other, find understanding amongst each other, most of all, support one another in this writing journey that we take. If we don't support each other, no one else will. We're the future, our culture can't last in this industry without us. It's time we remind them.
